Review of Morbidly Yours by Ivy Fairbanks

If I wasn’t already a romance fan, Morbidly Yours would have absolutely 100% converted me. When a shy grumpy meets an outgoing sunshine you KNOW that it’s going to one hell of a sizzling romance. Lark leaves America for a new job in Ireland and we know that she is running away from something. Not only does Lark move house, but she’s moved right next door to Callum (AKA my new book boyfriend) who just so happens to be the shy mortician who is as sweet and awkward as you can imagine. These two are immediate fast friends, with Lark pushing Callum out of his anti-social comfort zone, and together they both shine!

Behind Callum there’s a bit of a dilemma that includes a dating project, which brings with it hilarious quips from both Callum and Lark. I loved these characters, how they completely balanced one another out, and how the sparks between our duo were so hot they could have singed the pages of this book! With elements of sweetness and spiciness tied into real life themes such as grief, hope and second chances, Morbidly Yours is the swooning and uplifting romance that we ALL need on our TBRs this summer! You’ll chuckle, tear up and utterly fall for this book - LOVED IT!
